An espresso tonic in cocktail form — vodka and coffee, bittersweet and long, for the boost we all need at midnight.

Build
  • 30 mlOrigins Vodka
  • 30 mlEspresso — or cold brew
  • 15 mlMaple syrup — grade A
  • 70 mlTonic water
Method
  1. Fill a highball to the top with a clear ice spear.
  2. Add the vodka, espresso and maple syrup, then top with tonic water.
  3. Stir once, gently, to combine.
  4. Express an orange coin over the drink and drop it in.
